The Africa Business Association (ABA) is a visionary organization that aims to foster economic growth, social development, and cultural exchange in Africa and beyond. We believe that Africa is a continent of immense potential and opportunities, and we seek to empower its people, especially the youth, to unleash their creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We do this by providing business outreach and training services, facilitating trade and investment, promoting tourism and education, and supporting technology and science initiatives. Through our publications, events, and partnerships, we strive to showcase the achievements and aspirations of Africans, Americans, and African Diaspora businesses, and to inspire a new generation of leaders who will shape the Africa of tomorrow.
To provide development assistance and foreign direct investment, which have buoyed the continent’s development efforts over the years .
Our vision is grounded in consistent commitment to improving the growth prospects for Africans, Americans and African Diaspora businesses.
As forces from politics to social media try to break us into competing tribes—political, racial, or economic – together we’ll rethink the question “Who is my neighbor?”
We need you to hold us accountable – to keep us honest and grounded. To inspire us with what inspires you. Together, we can build a community of people who ask more from news.
News must be accurate and trustworthy, but facts alone can miss the whole story—the story of us. We are much better than much of today’s news portrays us to be. We will have the courage to look into both the best and the worst in us – and not to blame, but to demand better.
The Africa Business Association (ABA) is a division of the Black Business Association (BBA) of Los Angeles, California.
